Katherine is an accomplished American underwater photographer who has been exploring the depths of the ocean for over two decades. Her passion for adventure and wanderlust have taken her to more than 60 countries around the world.

After diving for decades, she bought her first point-and-shoot compact camera in 2014, which sparked her passion for underwater photography. Since then, she has honed her skills and developed a specialization in underwater macro photography. Although she loves photographing large pelagics and sharks when she has the opportunity, her true passion lies in capturing the intricate details of the ocean’s smallest inhabitants, many of which most people are unaware exist.

As a self-taught photographer, Katherine enjoys experimenting with different techniques and styles to create artistic expressions that showcase the beauty and fragility of the ocean ecosystem. Her images are not just visually stunning but also serve as powerful tools for raising awareness about the need for ocean conservation.

Katherine’s talent as an underwater photographer has been recognized internationally, winning her several awards for her images. Her work has also been featured in numerous publications, and she has written articles on underwater photography for several magazines.

Currently residing in Singapore and with easy access to the coral triangle, Katherine continues to push the boundaries of underwater photography. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to appreciate the wonder and diversity of the ocean and take action to protect it for future generations.
